On October 21, 2022, the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Ethiopia. This designation lasts only for the next 18 months.
In order to be eligible for TPS, individuals must have already been residing in the U.S. as of October 20, 2022. You will not be able to apply until it is posted to the Federal Register. Please follow USCIS.gov for updates.
