How to Shop for a Lawyer
Catholic Charities Has Limited Availability
Unfortunately, our case load is often at full capacity which prevents us from accepting new clients. We strongly urge you to take the time to shop for a good immigration attorney who can give you an honest assessment of your case. To help you get started, we have created a lawyer shopping guide and an immigration attorney referral list.
Additional Resources

Refugees coming to the United States must make several adjustments, and often have questions about green cards, citizenship, and work permits.
These three immigration mistakes could seriously hurt your chances of getting a green card, or lawfully immigrating to the United States.
