Four Milwaukee Public Schools will give out free flu shots from November 9 – 12. No health insurance or appointments are needed. Anyone can get a flu shot, including adults and children over six months old. Some interpreter services will also be available.
It is especially important to get a flu shot this year. With the Coronavirus pandemic continuing through flu season, we need to take extra care so that we do not overcrowd hospitals. A flu shot not only helps prevent you from getting sick, but it helps protect others from getting sick.
If you would like a free flu shot, you will fill out a vaccine consent form when you go to the site. Due to the Coronavirus, masks will be required and social distancing will be enforced.
All events are from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The dates and locations are:
